“Anchorman 2 The Legend Continues” starring Will Ferrell arrives on Blu-ray Disc (in three forms) on April 1st, 2014 via Paramount Home Entertainment. The release will come in three forms–a standard Blu-ray and two different gift sets that include pairs of Jockey briefs in either blue or red. The film, directed by Adam McKay, co-stars Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Christina Applegate. Tech specs for the release are as follows: The Blu-ray is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and English Audio Description and English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles.The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD, Digital Copy and an UltraViolet digital copy of the film included. The title is available for pre-order over at Amazon with the Blu-ray carrying a $19.99 price tag, the Blu-ray Jockey Briefs Set (in Blue) carrying a $29.99 price tag and the Blu-ray Jockey Briefs Set (in Red) carrying a $29.99 price tag. This release of the film will include THREE versions of the film: the Theatrical Cut, the Super-Sized R-Rated Version (with 763 new jokes) and an UNRATED Cut of the film.
