Rue McClanahan Dies at 76

Rue McClanahan, one of the last remaining “Golden Girls” (Betty White being the other) died this morning due to an apparent stroke, her management said.

In honor of Rue, this is one of my favorite Blanche-centric episodes of The Golden Girls:

Blanche talks up her ex-model daughter Rebecca, only to find that Rebecca has put on a substantial amount of weight. But this provides great moments for Blanche, who stands up for her daughter against an awful would-be husband
